"Hey I heard they are building concentration camps just for JWs . Lets get ready for persecution."

have you all read this weeks study article?.
oh my word it is full of fear inducing tactics....doom and gloom outlooks.... anxiety inducing methods to develop absolute control over witnesses and cripple them in any attempt to think for themselves!.
(notice i am saying "themselves" rather than "ourselves"?!

When vistiing The Colosseum , my tour guide said that Christains were not killed there. It was a myth.
This was a long time ago , I have always wondered about her comment.
i've been drinking 1 tbs with a glass of water twice daily for digestion for about 3 weeks now.
i've found it helps, but it also acts as an appetite suppressant; i've lost several pounds since using it.
i'm consuming fewer calories because i'm just not as hungry as before.
I use apple cider viniger for many things too.
I like to add a few drop in the water when I poach eggs. It keeps it all together.
Like Shirley said, Bragg is the one to use for the health benifits. It's at most regular markets now and all health food stores
It's also a good foot soak. I read somewere to add a 1/3 cup of Listerine and the same anount of Bragg viniger to your water. Soak your feet for no longer than 20 min. That's my favorite soak right now. I love the tingle..smile.
I use plaine old white viniger for cleaning. It's cheaper. I use it on the counters, floors and add it to laundry. The scent leaves quickly. Though it does'nt bother me.
i've been doing some research about famous witnesses.
some were raised and eventually left, while others came in as adults.
they range from sports players, musicians, and entertainers.

Tim Burton has made a new film on Margaret Keane.
She is a noted US artist
My Mum always said she was a JW..True
She is known for the big haunted eyes of girls.

we were supposed to treat them as dead!
did you follow this direction?
.
Of course not, I got my manners from my Catholic Grandmother.
Even at the hall I said hello. Kind of scared one young girl, and her mother glared at me. F- that mother. (long unfair story)
On the other hand, a close relative got the big D and it got back to the elders. So they kept relative out an extra 6 months. Such love, NOT!
Very close friend, like the sister I never had, got it at 16. We didnt change a thing . But were quite about it. Actually we had even more fun. Rebels that we were.
josh here, new to the board.
glad to know this site is here.. i would not be writing this if it were not 2014. i was a ministerial servant and regular pioneer who left the jehovahs witnesses back in 1995/96, around that time.
i left suddenly, didnt fade away, just left when something clicked one day in my head during the morning shower and made me realize this religion wasnt true.
Big welcome John-Mann
i'm marking your topic

when i was a jw.
i found it hard to say that i liked someone and in many ways still do.

Darth Frosty has a good topic on introverts. It helped me understand a few things about myself.
It could be your personality type, plus how you were raised.
I have had simular issues.
Read some more , it can be very liberating. You need to lose that last sentance mentality.
Dont give up.

i am not from norway, or familiar with thier legal system.
any help would be greatly appreciated.. zed.
I can't answer your question Zed.
We used to have a very interesting/intelligent group from Norway back in the day.
Maybe they will read this and give you a real answer.
(that is if they can still post here)

coming from a florist and imagining the messages behind flowers.
just keep it simple . ie 2 dozen red roses is not a good idea.
a small wild flower bouquet in a simple maison jar with a hand writen note saying you enjoyed her company,
would bring a smile .
Her responce will tell you her feelings.
I just think we get so complecated from our upbringing, to the point of not even taking the risk of finding a Love.
Take it!
edit..
PS
you take the risk and I will too.
I'm just a silly former florist and love flowers and Love.
